The more-for-less all-in-one POS
The Colormetrics P1000 all-in-one touch POS system was designed for everyone in
retail and hospitality who places importance on a sophisticated design and wants to get a lot of POS at a small price tag – in short, for you!
We equipped the POS systems of the P1000 Series with a large 15” touch display, thereby focusing great value on excellent resolution.
It has 1,024 x 768 pixels and 300 nits of brightness. This makes all the displayed contents ideally readable at all times, for both you and your employees – even in poor lighting conditions.
You have your choice between a capacitive and resistive display (we will explain the differences in the display types further on).
Capacitive display
Capacitive displays are used for smartphones and tablets. They react to the touch of a finger or conductive stylus. They do not react to prosthetics, normal pens or gloved fingers.
Capacitive monitors are very resilient against scratches, but are not easily readable in sunlight.
Resistive displays
Resistive displays react to pressure – even from that of a stylus or a gloved finger. They are less expensive than capacitive monitors, but react somewhat slower and are sometimes sensitive to high pressure.
